What I Learnt From Working For Free

Giving up your time for no financial benefit, is there an upside?

I tribute most of my success as a freelancer to free work but it was only when I learned when to take on a non-paying job that it benefited me. In recent years, I've taken on more compassion projects and they benefited me in ways I probably wouldn't have through paid work. Normally the case with paid work is that people come to you for skills and services they know for certain you can do and so there's not much room to grow in such scenarios.
